Vince Bagby / SWX

Will Big Sky Conference football teams be able to compete for a national championship this fall? That answer is still unknown after the NCAA Board of Governor's announced on Wednesday that the FCS has an August 21 deadline to decide for themselves whether or not a fall championship will occur. However the Board did set several guidelines must be met in order for the FCS to be allowed to have a championship this fall, including that at least 50% of playoff-eligible FCS football teams must choose to play football this fall.
