Longtime Community Colleges of Spokane women’s basketball coach Bruce Johnson will retire after upcoming season

Johnson, 62, told The Spokesman-Review on Thursday that he’ll step down after his 32nd season as head coach. He also spent three years as an assistant on the Sasquatch bench.


Community Colleges of Spokane athletic director Ken Burrus honored, will retire next month

Burrus, 62, will retire June 30 after a 13 year-stint with the school. His longtime assistant, former CCS baseball coach Bobby Lee, will take over as interim AD.
