The Boston Celtics are honoring Hall of Famer John Havlicek, who died last week at the age of 79. The Celtics came out wearing T-shirts with Havlicek’s No. 17. The crowd observed a moment of silence before the national anthem. Havlicek played 16 years for the Celtics and is the franchise’s all-time leading scorer. He was an eight-time NBA champion and the 1974 finals MVP.
