The Lady Griz (22-11), playing in front of a vocal crowd of 2,125, ran out to leads of 20-2, 19-8 and 35-19.

Norman “Griz” Ford called “I love you, son” to his 3-year-old as he left a federal courtroom Thursday to serve a 17 1/2-year prison sentence for his part in the murder of Gary Flett Jr. The sentence was “fitting,” said U.S. District Court Judge Edward Shea.
