Seattle area teaching pro Jamie Hall shot an 8-under 64 Friday to grab a three-shot lead after the first round of the Lilac City Invitational at the Fairways Golf Course in Cheney.

Hall had 10 birdies and two bogeys. Chase Carlson, Joel Skarbo, 2019 Lilac runner-up Jesse Schutte and Spokane’s Eric Ansett share second at 5 under in the 54-hole event.

Scott Emmanuel also finished his opening round in style, getting a hole-in-one on the 17th hole.

Due to state mandates, spectating and social gatherings are prohibited from this year’s event.
