Rui Hachimura became the third Gonzaga player named a first-team All-American by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).

Hachimura joins Adam Morrison (2006) and Kelly Olynyk (2013) as Zags honored on the first team. Nigel Williams-Goss made the second team in 2017. Teams are selected and voted on by NABC member coaches.

The first team included Tennessee’s Grant Williams, Murray State’s Ja Morant, and Duke’s RJ Barrett and Zion Williamson.

Purdue’s Carsen Edwards, Wisconsin’s Ethan Happ, Marquette’s Markus Howard, Virginia’s De’Andre Hunter and Michigan State’s Cassius Winston were second-team selections: Third-team honors went to Texas Tech’s Jarrett Culver, South Dakota State’s Mike Daum, Virginia’s Kyle Guy, Kansas’ Dedric Lawson and Kentucky’s PJ Washington.
