Minor League Report: Tuesday’s Northwest League and Texas Rangers affiliate results

Northwest League

Tri-City 3, Spokane 1: The Indians (9-3) were limited to seven hits by five pitchers and fell to the visiting Dust Devils (5-7) in the first of a three-game Northwest League series at Avista Stadium on Tuesday, snapping a four-game win streak. Matthew Acosta went 2 for 2 with two RBIs for Tri-City. .

Boise 4, Everett 0: Frederis Parra struck out six over seven innings and the Hawks 4-8) blanked the visiting Emeralds (7-5). Isaac Collins went 2 for 4 with three RBIs for Boise.

Hillsboro 7, Salem-Keizer 0: Michel Gelabert struck out six over five innings and the visiting Hops ()8-4) topped the Volcanoes (7-5). Kristian Robinson hit a two-run first inning homer for Hillsboro.

Everett 6, Vancouver 5: Miguel Walked to force in a run in the bottom of the ninth and the AquaSox (5-7) walked off the visiting Canadians (3-9). Patrick Frick went 2 for 3 with a run and an RBI.

Texas Rangers affiliates

Nashville 10, Memphis 4: Scott Heineman went 2 for 5 with a two-run homer and the visiting Sounds (32-45) beat the Redbirds (33-45). Zack Granite went 4 for 6 with an RBI and Adam Moore drove in three and went 2 for 5 for Nashville. Joe Palumbo allowed four runs on five hits and a walk over 4 1/3 innings.

Frisco (AA): Off for Texas League All-Star Game.

Down East (High-A) 6, Carolina 4: Diosbel Arias doubled and drove in two runs and the visiting Wood Ducks (53-23) beat the Mudcats (42-33). Alex Eubanks struck out five over six shutout innings and Curtis Terry hit his first High-A homer for Down East.

Hickory (Low-A) 7, Hagerstown 0: Tyreque Reed Pedro Gonzalez and Shertel Apostel homered and the Crawdads (46-26) beat the visiting Suns (32-44). Ronny Henriquez struck out six over three shutout innings of relief for Hickory.
