BOZEMAN – Harald Frey had 17 points to lead five Montana State players in double figures as the Bobcats topped Idaho 86-72 on Saturday.
Keljin Blevins scored 16 points for the Bobcats. Devin Kirby added 14, Sam Neumann scored 13 and Tyler Hall had 13.
Cameron Tyson had 14 points for the Vandals (4-19, 1-11 Big Sky Conference), who have lost nine straight games. Jared Rodriguez added 12 points and eight rebounds. Trevon Allen had 12 points.
Geno West also added 11 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals off the bench for the Vandals.
The Bobcats improved to 2-0 against the Vandals this season. MSU defeated Idaho 77-67 on Jan. 10.
Montana State (11-12, 8-5) takes on Idaho State on the road on Thursday. Idaho plays Northern Colorado at home on Thursday before traveling to Cheney to take on Eastern Washington on Feb. 18.
