Troy Johnson’s run-scoring single and a sacrifice fly by Brett Harris staked the Bulldogs (17-14, 10-5) to a 2-0 lead in the top of the third inning. Portland (20-17, 2-13) pulled even in the bottom of the inning on a two-run home run by Cody Hawken.

The Bulldogs picked up their fourth straight win when Ernie Yake singled with one out in the 11th and moved to second on an errant pickoff attempt. Morrison followed with the go-ahead single.
