Prep boys soccer: Caden Martin’s 89th-minute goal propels Ferris past Mead in double OT

Caden Martin scored and bagged an assist and Ferris (5-0-0-0) defeated visiting Mead (3-2-1-0) 2-1 on Friday in double overtime in a Greater Spokane League match. Solomon Katumbi had the game-winner in the 89th minute.

Central Valley 5, Rogers 0: Adams Jones scored two goals and the visiting Bears (5-0-0-0) beat the Pirates (0-5-0-0) at Joe Albi.

Gonzaga Prep 3, Shadle Park 0: Michael Torre scored twice and the Bullpups (4-1-0-1) defeated the visiting Highlanders (1-4-0-0).

North Central 1, Mt. Spokane 0: Marcus Abdel-Malek scored at the 22-minute mark in the first half and the Indians (2-3-0-0) defeated the Wildcats (0-5-0-0) at Joe Albi.

University 3, Lewis and Clark 2: Altyn Cader scored a goal and had an assist and the Titans (3-2-0-0) defeated the visiting Tigers (2-3-0-0).
