FORESTS – The University of Idaho Extension is looking for candidates for the Idaho Master Forest Stewards program. Graduates of the program train to help forest owners and others learn about Idaho’s forests.
Students receive 70 hours of training in forest management, education and outreach. Following the course participants are expected to volunteer 70 hours doing various types of outreach, according to a news release.
Enrollment is limited to 20 people per cohort, the news release said. Applications for the 2018 cohort are due by April 1.
