Key moment
Gonzaga led by 10 seven minutes into the second half when Zach Norvell Jr. made a steal and beeline for the offensive end. Miles Reynolds was whistled for an intentional foul and Norvell made both free throws. Josh Perkins buried a 3-pointer on the ensuing possession and the Zags created some breathing room with an 11-0 spurt.
Offensive player of the game
Josh Perkins helped the Zags through several offensive lulls with his perimeter shooting. The junior point guard made four 3-pointers, scored 16 points and added five assists, four rebounds and two steals in 32 turnover-free minutes.
Defensive player of the game
Sophomore forward Rui Hachimura continued his solid play of late with a strong effort on the defensive end. The 6-foot-8 forward was able to handle Pacific forwards and then stay with guards when GU switched on screens. He had one block and three rebounds.
