Nigel Williams-Goss, Zach Collins named to NCAA All-Tournament team

GLENDALE, Ariz.—Redshirt junior guard Nigel Williams-Goss and freshman center Zach Collins, along with North Carolina’s Kennedy Meeks, Justin Jackson and Joel Berry II, were named to the NCAA men’s basketball championship all-Tournament team after the conclusion of the Bulldogs’ 71-65 loss to North Carolina in the national championship game.

Berry II from UNC was named the Most Outstanding Player.

Williams-Goss scored 23 points and dished out six assists in the Bulldogs’ 77-73 win over South Carolina in the national semifinal and finished with 15 points and six assists against the Tar Heels.

Collins recorded 14 points, 13 rebounds and six blocks against the Gamecocks. He strugged in the national championship game with foul trouble, but still finished with nine points and seven rebounds.
