Woods At 8-Under Par

By Compiled From Wire Services

Tiger Woods bogeyed the final two holes to finish with a 3-under-par 70 in the second round of the Australian Masters at Huntingdale Golf Club in Melbourne.

With half of the field still on the course when Woods finished the second round, it was unclear how far his 8-under 136 would put him from the lead. His 5-under 68 Thursday left him four strokes behind.

Lucas Parsons of Australia tied the course record with a 9-under-par 64 to take the first-round lead.

Brian Claar and Mike Reid, the first players off the tee, took advantage of a perfectly still morning and soft greens to shoot 10-under-par 62s and share the first-round lead in the Hawaiian Open in Honolulu.
