A northwest wind that made the TPC at Eagle Trace play tougher and reduced the number of low scores didn’t seem to faze rookie Tim Herron in the second round of the Honda Classic.
Herron, who tied a course record with an opening-round 62, turned in another outstanding round with a 4-under-par 68 for a two-day total of 130.
His six-stroke lead over Olin Browne is the largest in a PGA event since 1990.<
