Davis Love III shot an 8-under-par 63, matching the course and tournament record, for a two-stroke lead over Scott Hoch after two rounds at Potomac, Md. Love completed 36 holes at 11-under 131, breaking the tournament record set by Chris Perry in 1987 by one stroke.
