The Seattle Mariners announced on Monday that they have acquired pitchers Adam Warren and Zach Duke from trades with the New York Yankees and Minnesota Twins respectively.

The Mariners acquired the 30-year-old Warren from the Yankees in exchange for international slot money. Warren has posted a 2.70 ERA with 37 strikeouts and 12 walks in 24 relief appearances with the Yankees this season. Warren began playing with the Yankees in 2016 and has since pitched a total of 117.2 innings and 116 strikeouts.

The Mariners have also acquired pitcher Zach Duke and cash considerations from the Twins in exchange for pitcher Chase De Jong and minor league infielder Ryan Costello. 35-year-old Duke is 3-4 this year, while posting a 3.62 ERA in 45 games with the Twins this season. Duke has not allowed a home run this season, making him one of three American League pitchers to appear in 30 games without allowing a homer.

Seattle's relief pitching ranks 14th in the MLB with a 3.92 ERA in 102 games this season.
