The Seattle Mariners completed their four-game sweep of the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday afternoon, 4-2. This marks the first time in Mariners history that they have completed a four-game sweep over the Orioles in Baltimore.

Seattle opened up the scoring in the fourth inning when Nelson Cruz hit his 21st home run on the year to give the Mariners a 2-0 lead. This game would go into extra innings and in the tenth, Jean Segura hit a ball into the outfield and Dee Gordon went from first base all the way home to give the Mariners a 3-2 lead.

Cruz would bring in one more run in the tenth giving the Mariners their 4-2 victory.

Seattle will now begin a 9-game home stretch at Safeco Field beginning with the Kansas City Royals (25-55) on Friday with first pitch set for 7:10 p.m.
