The Mariners led 5-4 in the eighth inning with two outs before Chris Davis hit a three-run home run to give the Orioles a two-run advantage. In the ninth inning, Kyle Seager hit a game-tying two-run home run and sent the game into extra innings. In the eleventh inning, Denard Span hit a sacrifice fly to bring home Jean Segura and ultimately the game's winning score.
