DENVER, Colo.Victor Sanders has taken one more step toward making his dream a reality, signing with the Denver Nuggets for the 2018 NBA MGM Resorts Summer League in Las Vegas.

Competition begins for Sanders and the Nuggets on Friday, July 6, against the Minnesota Timberwolves at 8 p.m. Pacific, and continues the following day at 8 p.m. against the Boston Celtics.  Both games will be carried on NBA TV.

Denver's final game of the opening round comes on Monday, July 9, at 6 p.m. against the Milwaukee Bucks, live on ESPNU.  Tournament play starts on Wednesday, July 11.

On his career, Sanders' name is sprinkled throughout the Idaho record books.  His 1,804 career points are the second most in team history, as are his 272 3-pointers.  He drained 440 free throws, the most ever by a Vandals.

Last season, another former Vandal, Jeff Ledbetter, competed for the San Antonio Spurs in the Summer League.
