The Seattle Mariners fell to the New York Yankees, 7-2 on Tuesday marking their second straight loss. The Mariners move to 46-27 on the season and despite the loss, still have won six of their last nine games.

Seattle had only two hits in their loss, one of which was a home run by Nelson Cruz in seventh inning. Former Gonzaga Bulldog and starting pitcher Marco Gonzales picked up the loss after giving up six earned runs in 6.1 innings pitched.

The Mariners continue their series with the Yankees on Wednesday with the first pitch set for 4:05 p.m.
