Everett scored two goals in the first 7:32 of the game and never looked back as they skated past the Spokane Chiefs 4-1 Sunday night in Everett. Spokane has now dropped 7 of 9 contests to the U.S. Division leaders this season, as the Chiefs are 10 points back of the Silvertips.

Everett would take a 1-0 lead on a Carson Stadnyk goal off a face-off 2:32 into the game. Patrick Bajkov would score off another face-off five minutes later to put the Silvertips ahead 2-0 after one. In the second, Yan Khomenko scored off a rebound midway through the period to put the Tips ahead 3-0. Bajkov would notch his second goal of the game on a power play tally in the final minute of the second to give Everett a commanding 4-0 lead heading into the third.

Spokane would spoil the shutout when Hudson Elyniuk scored his 3rd goal in the last two games with just 31.2 seconds remaining. Everett outshot Spokane 26-21, as the Chiefs went 0-1 on the power play and 3-4 on the penalty kill. Spokane will return home Wednesday when they host the Prince George Cougars at 7:05pm. Mike Boyle will have the call on 1510 KGA starting with the pre-game show at 6:30pm.
