Cheney, Wash. – The Eastern Washington University Athletics Department announced Wednesday, Jan. 20, the details of its 2016 National Signing Day breakfast event and live TV broadcast in partnership with SWX and Northern Quest Resort and Casino.

The breakfast and live broadcast will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 3, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at Northern Quest Resort and Casino. The live broadcast will air on SWX and will be simulcast on WatchBigSky.com. The broadcast will be hosted by SWX's Sam Adams and the Voice of the Eagles, Larry Weir, and will be held in the same room as the breakfast, allowing attendees to be part of the live show.

"The opportunity to combine our National Signing Day event with a live TV broadcast is an exciting prospect for both our Football program and athletic department," EWU Deputy Athletic Director Ken Halpin said. "Being one of the first FCS athletic departments to both stream and televise our National Signing Day event allows us to continue pursuing innovation in an aggressive way."

"This would not be possible without Northern Quest and SWX," Halpin continued. "Their support and cooperation will no doubt make this one of the best National Signing Day experiences in EWU's history."

The broadcast will feature interviews with EWU Football head coach Beau Baldwin and a number of Eagle assistant coaches, among other guests. Event attendees will have the option to ask Coach Baldwin questions about Eastern's signees following the broadcast.

Registration is $30 for Eagle Athletic Fund members and $40 for non-EAF members. To learn more about how to join the Eagle Athletic Fund, click here. Doors will open at 6:45 a.m.
