Gonzaga's Przemek Karnowski done for season after back surgery

SPOKANE, Wash. -

New Year's Eve will not be so fun for Gonzaga Center Przemek Karnowski. Thursday morning he went in for a back surgery that will end his season according to head coach, Mark Few. Karnowski has been dealing with a bulging disc that has prevented him from playing in the last eight games and he will now miss the rest of the games.

The 7'1" player was expected to be a key player for the Zags 2015-2016 season. The Senior from Poland could eligible for a medical redshirt but he could also head straight to the NBA next year.
