Marks Returning to WSU For Senior Season

Unfinished business was what Gabe Marks cited when he announced on Twitter (@throwitupto9) that he would be returning to Washington State for his senior season. The junior wide receiver led the Pac-12 with eight catches per game, he was also second in the conference in receiving yards per game (91.7) and second in total touchdowns with 15 on the season.

Marks tweeted this announcement Sunday afternoon:

"When I signed with WSU in February of 2012 I wanted to be a part of a special group of guys that turned the program around and we did just that in 2015. I have thoroughly enjoyed the process of building a winning tradition again at WSU. I wouldn't trade these last 4 years for anything in the world. After the heartbreaking loss to Stanford this season I realized how close this program is to being a Pac-12 champion and I also remember the #1 goal I had when committing to WSU and that was to get the Cougars back to a Rose Bowl. It was after that disappointing game that I made the decision to return to WSU for my senior season. #Unfinishedbusiness #GoCougs"

Through three years of play at WSU, Marks holds program record for career receptions with 227 total catches.
