Any shot of making the playoffs for the Spokane Indians ended on Wednesday night, as the Everett AquaSox topped Spokane 8-5 in 12 innings.

After the sixth inning, the Indians and AquaSox were deadlocked at five up until the 12th inning. Taylor Zeutenhorst hit a 2-run home run in the 12th to give Everett their first lead. Three batters later, Jordan Cowan drove in an insurance run to put the AquaSox up for good 8-5.

In his Indians debut, former 1st round pick Travis Demeritte went 1-5 with four strikeouts.

The Spokane Indians committed seven errors on the night, accounting for three unearned runs.

The Indians conclude their series with Everett on Thursday before finishing the regular season on the road with Tri-City this weekend.
