While SWX plans to broadcast Friday night's high school football game between Lakeland and Lewiston, there are still plenty of other high school games that have been impacted by the poor air quality. Below is a release from the University of Idaho in regard to what games you can see at the Kibbie Dome this weekend.

MOSCOW, Idaho – Aug. 27, 2015 —Due to persistent air quality concerns around northern Idaho, the University of Idaho has opened up the Kibbie Dome-ASUI Activity Center for use by area athletic teams.

“We are incredibly pleased to be able to offer the use of our facility to these high school athletes,” said Robert Anderson, director of University Support Services at UI. “It is part of our commitment as a university to serve our community.”

Today through Saturday, the Kibbie Dome — the only indoor football stadium in the area — welcomes teams from 14 area schools for seven games. The schedule is as follows:

Today, Aug. 27
7 p.m.: Genesee vs Kendrick

Friday, Aug. 28
3 p.m.: Lake City vs Rocky Mountain
5:30 p.m.: Coeur d’Alene vs Skyline
8 p.m.: Moscow vs Grangeville

Saturday, Aug. 29
2 p.m.: Deary vs Potlatch
4:30 p.m.: Kellogg vs St. Maries
7 p.m.: Post Falls vs Sandpoint

The community is invited to attend the high school games. Gate money is being collected by the home team for each game. Concessions will be available.

If air quality problems persist, Anderson said the Kibbie Dome will remain open for use by other teams, as the schedule allows.

“The health and safety of all of our regional athletes is of upmost concern,” Anderson said. “They are welcome to use our facility at any time if there are concerns about air quality.”

The Vandal football team has its season opener in the Dome on Thursday, Sept. 3, against Ohio University. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
