SPOKANE, Wash. – The West Coast Conference revealed its 2015-16 women’s basketball schedule Wednesday. Gonzaga hosts and travels to the conference’s nine opponents once again this season.

The Zags will look to defend their unprecedented 11-straight WCC regular season titles. Last season, GU won more league games than any team in conference history. The Bulldogs’ 16-2 conference finish was two games ahead of second.

Gonzaga tips off the 2015-16 WCC schedule on Dec. 21 at Pepperdine. The Los Angeles trip concludes with Loyola Marymount on Dec. 23.

On New Year’s Eve, the Zags welcome San Francisco. Last season’s meeting in Spokane was the longest game ever played in the West Coast Conference. The four-overtime thriller ended with a GU win in front of a sellout crowd. The Bulldogs then open 2016 by hosting Santa Clara.

A three-game road swing follows, beginning with Portland on Jan. 9. The long trips to BYU, on Jan. 14, and San Diego, on Jan. 16, begin a tough stretch for the Zags. GU faces the top half of 2014-15’s conference standings all in-a-row – BYU, San Diego, Saint Mary’s and Pacific. The SMC and Pacific games will be in Spokane on Jan. 21 and Jan. 23.

The second half of the conference schedule begins with trips to Santa Clara (Jan. 28) and San Francisco (Jan. 30). A three-game homestand follows, Loyola Marymount (Feb. 4), Pepperdine (Feb. 6), and Portland (Feb. 13).

The Zags’ final conference road trip takes them to Saint Mary’s on Feb. 18 and Pacific two days later. Gonzaga’s last two regular season games are at home on Feb. 25 and 27, against San Diego and BYU. All four of those teams won 20 games last season, were ranked in the top-65 in the final RPI, and advanced to postseason play.

The West Coast Conference Championships follows on March 3-8 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.

With the entire 2015-16 schedule complete, GU hosts 18 games in the McCarthey Athletic Center. The season begins in Spokane with an exhibition against Carroll College (Mont.) on Nov. 6. The first game of the regular season follows on Nov. 13, against Air Force.

Gonzaga season tickets are available now starting at $85. Visit GoZags.com/tickets or call 509-313-6000 for more information.
