SPOKANE - It's been a long week for the Spokane Indians, but they finally snapped their four-game losing streak with a 4-0 victory over the Eugene Emeralds on Saturday night.

The pitching was stellar for Spokane as three pitchers combined for a shutout with six total strikeouts. Emerson Martinez set the tone for the Indians. He gave up just two hits in his five innings of work.

With the arms working, the bats got going early. Spokane plated two in the second inning thanks to Todd McDonald's RBI double and a sacrifice fly by Ti'Quan Forbes. The Indians went 3-8 with runners in scoring position with additional runs coming in the 5th and 6th innings.

Spokane and Eugene conclude their five-game series Sunday at 3:30 PM.

The All-Star Break started Monday with SWX broadcasting the Northwest League Pioneer League All-Star Game Tuesday at 7 PM.
