The Shock went on the road in Week 16 of the 2015 AFL regular season to take on the Los Angeles Kiss at the Honda Center, falling 34-28.

Spokane was held scoreless in the first half of play. Shock only had 2 opportunities in the red zone but failed to convert both attempts. KISS QB Danny Southwick connected with multiple receivers for scores in the first half (Gilson, Morgan, Goard and Sampson). Smith played the first half and was replaced by Nelson (J. Lewis Small Playmaker of the Game) in the second half. Shock rattled off 21 unanswered points in the third quarter to cut the deficit to 7 points, but late score by Kiss proved too much for Spokane to overcome. Had tying score opportunity in final drive, but after review ruled not a catch as Kiss held on to 34-28 win.

The Shock returns to Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena to host the Arizona Rattlers Friday, July 17 at 7:00 pm for Military Appreciation Night. Tailgating begins at 5:00 pm in north arena lot featuring a Coors Light Beer Garden and YMCA Kids Zone. Doors open at 6:00 pm as the first 3,500 fans receive Shock flags courtesy of Aarons. Kickoff at 7:00 pm brought to you by Aaron's and Rock 94.5 FM radio Spokane. For tickets visit any TicketsWest box office location, www.TicketsWest.com, or call 1-800-325-SEAT.

LA KISS quarterback Danny Southwick finished the night completing 21-of-31 pass attempts for 214 yards and 4 touchdowns. DeMarco Sampson led the Kiss receiving effort with 6 receptions for 60 yards and one touchdown, while three other Kiss receivers would record receiving scores on the night (Gilson, Morgan and Goard) and one score on the ground (Myles Mason). The Kiss offense went 5-of-8 on third down attempts on the night and was 1-of-1 on fourth down during the game.

The KISS defense held the Shock to 1-of-3 on fourth down conversions and added one interception (Josh Victorian).

Shock quarterback Warren Smith completed 8-of-19 pass attempts for 101 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception in the first half. Backup quarterback Arvell Nelson started the second half completing 10-of-20 passes for 130 yards, two passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown. Receiver Anthony Amos led the team with 7 receptions for 94 yards. Jabin Sambrano and Nick Truesdell added one receiving touchdown each.
