SPOKANE, Wash. -- Dylan Moore's walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning lifted the Spokane Indians to an Opening Night win, 6-5, over the visiting Hillsboro Hops live on SWX at Avista Stadium on Thursday night.

Ti'Quan Forbes broke on Moore's line drive to left field and slid past the tag to score the game-winner. Forbes drew a 1-out walk to get on base and advanced to second on a Sherman Lacrus single to center field.

The Indians (1-0) started the game by taking a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first thanks to a Lacrus RBI single and Forbes scoring on a Diego Cedeno groundout.

It was short lived, the Hops (0-1) Fernery Ozuna looked to end the top of the second by stranding Nate Robertson on third with a fly out to deep center field, but Darius Day miss played the ball to allow Robertson and Ozuna to score on what ended up being a 4-base error.

Spokane added two more runs in the bottom of the frame, only to watch Hillsboro tie things up again in the top of the third at 4-4.

Doug Votolato gave the Indians their third lead of the game on a passed ball after he got on board with a bunt single.

In the fashion of the game the Hops tied the game, again, in the top of the seventh inning on a Zach Nehrir RBI single to center field to score Sergio Alcantara after he led off the inning with a walk.

Luis Parra came in to pitch two innings of no-hit baseball to close out Hillsboro and earn the win for the Indians.

Moore finished the game 2-for-5 at the plate, including his game-winning RBI.

The same two teams return to Avista Stadium tomorrow, June 18, for another 6:30 p.m. PT start live on SWX.
