IRONMAN CDA 2014 Stories: Tom deTar, Running For The Children On His Wrist

Tom deTar was a family friend and knew Anna Schindler before she passed away after her battle with childhood cancer. Now he is doing the best he can to make sure children and families who were in the same shoes as Anna and her family can have at least a little peace while they battle some of the most awful diseases known to mankind.

With the hospital bracelets of the children he's trying to raise money for as part of the Anna Schindler Foundation strapped across his wrist, deTar knew the battle he faced competing in IRONMAN this past weekend pales in comparison to what those children face everyday of their lives.

Gabe Cohen and Emmy award winning photographer and producer Jordan Caskey bring you the story. Mobile/App users can use this link to watch this inspirational video: http://bit.ly/1jZtsxA
