SPOKANE, Wash. – The Gonzaga University women's basketball team jumped two spots to No. 22 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll released Monday.

The Bulldogs received 124 points – 31 additions points from a week ago. Gonzaga is 28 points ahead of 23rd place Middle Tennessee State University and 41 points behind 21st place Michigan State University.

The University of Connecticut still reigns supreme in the top spot with 900 points, while the University of Notre Dame and the University of Louisville round out the top three.

This past week, the Zags defeated the University of Portland 72-61 to clinch at least a share of their 10th-straight West Coast Conference regular-season championships.

The Bulldogs, who currently are 24-4 on the year and 14-2 in league, close out the regular season this week by hosting Saint Mary's College Thursday at 6 p.m. and the University of Pacific Saturday at 2 p.m.
