SPOKANE, Wash. –  The Gonzaga University women's basketball team returned to the Associated Press Top 25 Poll Monday. The Bulldogs checked in at No. 25 after receiving 75 votes – 46 more votes than a week prior.

The Bulldogs, who were the third team of ‘others receiving votes' last week, jumped into the Top 25 after road victories over the University of San Francisco and Santa Clara University. The two wins improved their overall record to 16-3 on the year and their West Coast Conference mark to 6-1.

The University of Connecticut continues to hold firm in the No. 1 spot with all 36 first-place votes and 900 total.

Gonzaga closes out a four-game roadswing with contests at Loyola Marymount University Thursday and Pepperdine University Saturday.
