SPOKANE, WA – The Spokane Shock have made a number of roster transactions, placing two players on recallable reassignment while also activating two players.

Wide receiver Thomas Mayo and offensive lineman Nick Speller have been activated from other league exempt. To make room for the two on the roster, wide receivers, Jeffrey Solomon and Duane Brooks, have been placed on recallable reassignment. Mayo returns to the Shock after spending time with the NFL’s New York Jets and the CFL’s Saskatchewan Roughriders, while Speller is coming back after stints with the CFL’s BC Lions and Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Solomon and Brooks depart a team packed full of receivers; with the activation of Mayo the Shock now have seven active receivers including returning 2013 team-leader Adron Tennell, Brandon Thompkins, and newcomer Mike Washington, who caught at least 30 touchdowns in each of his last three seasons with the Pittsburgh Power.
