University of Alabama kicker Cade Foster must have been feeling pretty low after his performance in the 2013 Iron Bowl versus Auburn. He missed two field goals, another was blocked, and the Crimson Tide missed an opportunity to play in both the SEC Championship game and a probable BCS National Championship.
Foster should be feeling a little bit better following a presidential pick-me-up he received in the mail couple of weeks later.
“Dear Cade (#43), Life has its setbacks. I know! However, you will be a stronger human with time. I wish you all the best – Sincerely – another 43 George Bush,” is how the letter reads. Foster plans on framing the letter.
