EVERETT, Wash. -

The Spokane Indians won their third straight game over Everett, beating the host AquaSox 6-3 on Saturday night in a Northwest League game at Everett Memorial Stadium.

Five Spokane pitchers combined to scatter 14 hits over nine innings, striking out 12. Justin Sprenger (3-2) was inserted in the sixth and went 1 2/3 innings, and Luis Pollorena (S, 1) got the final four outs.

Everett scored a run in each of the fourth and fifth innings, but Spokane rallied with one in the sixth, two in the seventh and eight, and an insurance run in the ninth for good measure.

AquaSox shortstop Jack Reinheimer's throwing error in the seventh allowed Evan Van Hoosier and Jamie Jarmon to score, while only one of the runs was earned.

The Indians evened their second-half record at 18-18, and can guarantee themselves a playoff spot by winning the final two games, which would win the Northwest League North second half race. Also, if they finish with a better overall record than Vancouver, they will make the playoffs. Vancouver and Spokane are both 38-36, and Vancouver owns the tiebreaker.

Spokane faces Everett at 1:05 p.m. on Sunday in the second-to-last regular season game of the season. The regular season finale is at 4:05 p.m. on Monday.
