SPOKANE, Wash. -

The annual Hardwood Classic: 1B, 2B Boys & Girls State Basketball Championships tournament tips off Thursday in Spokane, and once again SWX will provide live coverage – both online and on TV.

Beginning Thursday at 5:30 p.m., SWX will air the first-round girls matchup between White Swan and Reardan, followed by the NW Christian-Napavine at 7:15.

Coverage online, however, begins bright and early with the first games of the day in both 1B and 2B classifications. The SWX team will provide live blogs, game recaps, score updates, slideshows and highlights throughout the day. Coverage can also be found on the SWX Sports app available through both the Google Play store and on iTunes.

On Friday, SWX has plans to air two of the boys 1B and 2B boys semifinal games. Potential teams include Wahkiakum, Winlock, Colfax, Laconner, Lind-Ritzville/Sprague, NW Christian, Morton-White Pass and Saint George's; or Columbia Adventist, Sunnyside Christian, Pomeroy or Christian Faith. Those games will be determined by the fate of Columbia Adventist, who may take advantage of a religious exception should they win their first-round game on Thursday (they have chosen not to play after sundown on Friday). In that case, their semifinal game against either Christian Faith or Pomeroy would have to be moved to an earlier time.

SWX will air all boys and girls championship games on Saturday beginning at 3 p.m.
