Richland and Central Valley set for regional championship on SWX

Posted: Updated:

RICHLAND, Wash. -- Friday night it's a battle of top seeds as the Richland Bombers host the Central Valley Bears. It's a highly anticipated game on SWX. We'll see a rematch from last year's playoffs. This one is for the regional championship. Last season Central Valley won the playoff match-up, then beat Richland again to start this season. Central Valley comes in with just one loss, but the Bombers say they are ready.

"I'm pretty confident in our guys. We're playing our best at the end of the year. That's all you can really ask for. I think it's an attitude thing for us. CV is good. I mean, who's kidding who? They're very good. Obviously that's why they've won so many games. They've also won some close games and had some tight ones go their way. We just want to come out and have the right attitude, get after them and take advantage of being in our own gym," Richland head coach Earl Streufert said.
