SPOKANE, Wash. -- Jarid Downey came off the bench to sink 8-of-11 shots from the field, including 7 from 3-point range, as Community Colleges of Spokane sunk Walla Walla Community College, 81-69, in NWAACC play on Wednesday.

Downey finished the night with a team-high 23 points, complemented by Brady Bagby's 16.  The tandem helped overcome a monster night from the league's leading scorer, Case Rada.  The Warrior freshman erupted for 25 first-half points on the way to a 33-point effort.

Earlier in the night, North Central grad Riley Holsinger scored a game-high 30 points in a losing effort as Spokane dropped a narrow 73-71 decision to Walla Walla in women's basketball.
