SPOKANE, Wash. -

Off to their best start in school history, Gonzaga should feel plenty rested for Thursday's road trip to Portland.

The No. 8 Zags will have had an entire week off by the time they tip off against the Pilots in the Chiles Center, an environment as hostile as they come for the Zags.

"[In] every game we get the team's best, you know," said Gonzaga guard Kevin Pangos. "They're gunning for that win, their crowd gets into it. It will be a packed house and we're looking forward to it. We'll come out strong. We have to be the aggressors on the road."

"They always play us tough in that building," said coach Mark Few about the Pilots. "They play with a lot of energy and passion. They are a reflection of their coach. He's a tough guy and a physical guy, so that's kind of how they play."

The game, at 7 p.m. (PT), will be broadcast on KHQ in the Spokane area, and on ROOT outside the viewing the area.

The Gonzaga women host BYU Thursday at 6 p.m. (PT). That game can be seen live on SWX in Eastern Washington and North Idaho.
