Former Washington State and NFL quarterback Ryan Leaf was transferred from a drug treatment center in Montana to a state prison because of bad behavior.
Leaf was sentenced to a drug rehab center in Lewistown back in June. He was supposed to spend nine months there before being sent to a prerelease center for six months. After that, it was believed he would be given supervised community placement for the remainder of his five year sentence for drug and burglary charges.
According to the Great Falls Tribune, however, Leaf threatened a staff member at the treatment center, prompting his transfer to the Montana State Prison in Deer Lodge.
Leaf also faces 10 years of probation for a 2010 drug and burglary conviction in Texas.
