SPOKANE, Wash. -- Austin Rehkow's clutch free throws down the stretch helped Central Valley (13-0, 11-0 GSL) overcome Brett Bailey's 26 points in a 53-45 win over University on Tuesday night.  Rehkow finished the night with a team-high 19 points, 11 of which came from the free throw line.  The win keeps Central Valley's perfect record intact, having won each of its first 14 games after ending last season with a 48-42 loss to Davis in the 4A State Championship game.

The Central Valley girls defeated University 41-38 in the early game at Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena, getting 13 points from Mariah Cunningham and 10 more from sophomore Madison Hovren.  Kayleigh Valley led the Titans with a game-high 17 points along with 7 rebounds.

The Bears also won the coveted "Stinky Sneaker," presented to the spirit competition winner in the annual rivalry between the Spokane Valley high schools.
