LOS ANGELES (AP) - Cassie Harberts scored 18 points and had 10 rebounds to lead USC over Washington State 61-59 Sunday afternoon.
Harberts was 4 of 11 from the field for the Trojans (7-8, 4-0 Pac-12). Ariya Crook had 14 points, nine rebounds and six assists. Kate Oliver had 10 points.
Tia Presley scored 25 points for Washington State (5-10, 1-3). Lia Galdeira had 14 points. Sage Romberg and Ireti Amojo led with six rebounds apiece.
State led 32-28 at halftime. USC shot 34 percent from the field for the game, but made 83 percent of its free throw. The Cougars shot 31 percent. Both teams were 83 percent at the free-throw line.
