Sunnyside wins Hanford Winter Cup Wrestling Tournament

RICHLAND, Wash. -- Local wrestlers got back on the mat Friday. Schools from Tri-Cities to Yakima to Spokane took part in the Hanford Winter Cup Tournament. The Sunnyside wrestlers took the overall victory with 236 points. Four grizzlies won their weight class. Mount Spokane was second and Richland was third with two wrestlers winning their weight class. Southridge's Kevin Del Angel won at 195 pounds. He pinned all three opponents in a total of 2:50. Also 3A state champ Sisto Pina won at 182 pounds for Kamiakin.
