SPOKANE, Wash. -

Gonzaga has just three more non-conference games before the start of WCC play in January. The first of those three games is Wednesday against the Camels of Campbell.

The Zags are coming off a 68-52 win over Kansas State in the Battle of Seattle.

Campbell, in all honesty, is an unheralded opponent for Gonzaga. But it is a team that will serve the Zags well as they tune up for the slugfest that is the West Coast Conference.

"We've seen and now experienced if we don't play well we put ourselves in a situation to drop games," said coach Mark Few. "So hopefully we'll be able to continue along this path so we're getting better and kind of springboard ourselves into some time off."

"Now that we don't have school anymore – it's break – it's a perfect time for us to practice well and get a lot of individual [work] in, work on our game to help out the team as much as we can," said Sam Dower.

Wednesday's game against Campbell tips off at 6 p.m. and can be seen on both SWX and KHQ in the Spokane area. It will be on ROOT outside the local viewing area.

Watch SWX following the game for a special postgame report.
