Dowd Lifts Gonzaga Prep Over Ferris 58-57

SPOKANE - Sam Dowd's 20 points helped Gonzaga Prep earn the fourth victory of the season in a tight one with Ferris 58-57.

With both teams tied at 27 points at halftime, the Bullpups came up with a run in the 3rd quarter to take a five point lead. Ferris bounced back in the 4th to keep things close, but it was Gonzaga Prep holding on to win 58-57.

The Saxons were led by Cody Benzel with 19 and Jensen Rye with 14.

Both teams have games next Thursday. For Gonzaga Prep, they travel to Mt. Spokane, while Ferris hosts Mead.
