Tri-City Americans Satisfied With Play Against Spokane

KENNEWICK, Wash.  -  The Tri-City Americans got back on the ice Monday to prepared for their first road trip in almost a month. On the trip the Ams will face some familiar teams, Kelowna, Kamloops and Vancouver, three teams they've played at home in November.

The Ams split the home and home series with the Spokane Chiefs this weekend, winning in overtime on Friday, the Americans talk about their overtime win.

"Well we played hard, I was really happy to that we got the two points on Friday. I thought we played a really solid game, it didn't look that good late, but really exciting finish and then on Saturday night we were good enough to win as well," said Jim Hiller, Americans head coach.  

"It was a lot of fun, I mean it was one of the greatest games I think I've ever been a part of when we beat them in overtime here," added Eric Comrie, Americans Goalie. "It was so much fun how the boys just came together at the end; got down but we kept battling and kept battling."
