Kamiakin Basketball Talented, But still Have to Reach Potential

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash.  - High school basketball season is almost here. The Kamiakin Braves are looking to repeat their run to the state semi-finals.  The braves must replace seven seniors including standouts Justin Pedley and Zach En-Wezoh. Kamiakin head coach Brian Meneely says this year's team is talented, but they still have to reach their potential.

"All you want your teams to do is reach their potential. And every team has different amounts of potential based upon physical abilities and make-up and experience level and things like that," said Meneely. "We like this group, we're really excited about this group, but you have to go through the trials and tribulations of the season, you have to have experience success and adversity and react to those things and grow and develop. Teams look a lot different in January and February than they do at the start."
