Coeur d'Alene, ID – Big night for the IEL as Lake City and Coeur d'Alene both advance to the second round of the state tournament in Idaho.

For the Vikings, it was a 45-0 beat down of Rocky Mountain High School. Reece Mahaffy had 182 yards of total offense and two touchdowns.

Quarterback Gunnar Amos threw for 329 yards and four touchdowns in the win.

Next up Coeur d'Alene will play Highland next week.

For Lake City, they won their revenge game with Coeur d'Alene will play Highland next week.

For Lake City, they won their revenge game with Eagle, beating the Mustangs 24-10.

Last year Eagle eliminated Lake City from the state tournament, but this year the Timberwolves scored 15 points in the 4th quarter to advance in the tournament.

Jerry Louie-Mcgee led Lake City with 98 total yards and a touchdown.

Lake City will next travel to take on undefeated Madison next week.

The lone loss of the night was from Moscow who fell to 18-6
